DIY Pom Pom Earrings 3 Ways

Hello everyone!
I don't know about you but, I have been loving the statement earring trend that has been going around.
I am ALL about loud and flashy clothes.
One of my favorite types of statement earrings is Pom Pom earrings.
I think they are so fun!
So, I decided to make my own.

Chain Pom Pom Earrings

You will need:
Earring Threads
Pom Poms
Needle
Thread
Scissors

For any of these earrings, you can use either homemade or store-bought pom poms.
Click here for a tutorial for homemade pom-poms.
Thread the thread through the needle.
Stick the needle through the middle of a pom-pom.
Thread the needle through the end hoop of the chain of the earring thread.
Stick the needle back through the middle of the pom-pom and pull tight so the chain is tight against the pom-pom.

Cut the string and tie a few knots to hold in place.
Cut off the excess string.
Repeat to create a pair.

Stud Pom Pom Earrings

You will need:
Flat Post Earrings
Pom Poms
Hot Glue Gun
Hot Glue Sticks

For these earrings, I prefer store-bought pom-poms since they are smaller and a little more compact.
Apply a small dot of hot glue to the flat post earring.
Immediately apply the pom-pom of your choice to the hot glue and apply pressure for several seconds.
Repeat on a second earring to create a pair.

Hoop Pom Pom Earrings

You will need:
 Large Earring Hooks
Pom Poms

Stick the pointed end of the earring hook through the center of your choice of pom-pom.
Repeat to create a pair.

I love how these earrings turned out.
They are very simple to make so you can create as many as you want!
They are the perfect accessory for back to school or to spice up the remainder of your summer.
How do you feel about statement earrings?
Love them or hate them?

All my love,
Autumn
