This has been one of my favorite quotes since I was little.
The older I get the more it resonates with me.
I have learned that no matter what we do we cannot make everyone happy.
Some days you will make the people over here happy, but the people over there will be unhappy.
Other days you will make the people over there happy, but the people over here will be unhappy.
Some people will be unhappy with your thoughts or opinions.
Others will be unhappy simply by the fact that you are living your life.
So why waste time being anything other than who you are?
