The Easiest Homemade Donuts

Hello everyone!
Friday is National Donut Day.
Erik's favorite food is donuts, so you know we will be celebrating.
Today I am going to share one of the easiest ways to make them.
Premade ingredients anyone?

You will need:
Premade Biscuit Dough, I used Pillsbury
Oil for Frying, I used Vegetable Oil
Toppings

Pop open a tube of biscuits and separate.
I accidentally bought dough with butter chunks in it.
It was a happy accident.
Cut a hole in the center of the biscuits.
I used the large end of a #2 piping tip.
Save the middle pieces of dough for donut holes!

Place the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and a little bit of flour.

Heat an inch of oil in a cast-iron skillet to 350o.
Drop in the dough and fry until they puff and turn golden brown on each side.

Remove the donuts from the oil and place on a cooling rack to let the excess oil drip off.
Repeat until you have fried all of the dough.
Add your favorite toppings.

We did a Homemade Glaze (1 Cup of Powdered Sugar, 4 Tablespoons of Milk and 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla), Cinnamon Sugar, and Powdered Sugar.

Enjoy!

These suckers are crazy delicious...
They taste different from a regular donut as they are made with biscuit dough but, I can guarantee no one will be complaining.
They are so easy to make and straight-up addictive.
Just warning you now...
What is your favorite type of donut?

All my love,
Autumn
