Hello everyone!
We have officially made it through the first week of 2017!
During the week I have been thinking about the past year and how many great moments came our way.
Every year since Erik and I have been married we have dubbed each year "The Year of the Mineers," and I think 2016 was really it.
Here are some of my favorite moments:
Shea's Wedding and Bachelorette Party!
My dear friend Shea got married in April of this year.
They had an intimate wedding at the court house.
I felt so lucky to be among the select few that got to witness it.
The weekend before we threw her a Bachelorette party.
Since they were having a small ceremony I wanted the Bachelorette party to be big.
We ended up getting a suite at the Grand America in downtown Salt Lake City and spent the night.
It was such a blast!
We went to dinner, had a pajama dance party and maybe cracked open an inappropriate piñata...
We Bought A House!
Erik and I have been wanting to buy a house for several years but kept hitting road blocks...
This year it finally happened and I feel like it was meant to be.
We had been looking for months and months and we finally found the one.
Unfortunately it was already off the market...
I did not want to take no for an answer so I called around and asked anyone I could find if it was really gone and was told time and time again that it was looong gone.
About a week later I got an email saying it had gone back on the market and they knew how much I wanted it so they were letting me know first!
We saw it the next day and made an offer that night.
Now here we are.

Getting New Jobs!
Shea and I decided to go see Weezer at the very last minute.
But the important part of this story is that before I left work to go meet her I put my two weeks in at my job!
I had worked at the same company at the same location for three and a half years and was needing a change.
I was randomly called and asked to interview for a job and was offered the job on the spot!
Two weeks later Erik was also offered a new job!
Say What?!
Anniversary Cruise!
Erik and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary with a cruise!
I was so excited to go on our very first "big" vacation and to have Erik experience a cruise for the first time.
Erik tried so many new things and it made me so happy to see him so happy!
It was very fun, relaxing and fattening...
Christmas in Disneyland Again!
Last year we spontaneously decided to go to Disneyland during Christmastime.
We had so much fun we decided we better go back again this year.
We made it a girls trip and made so many new memories!
