Mini Berry Tarts

These have become a favorite in our house. 
With the sugar cookie short cut they are quick and simple to make and 
make the perfect summer treat!
You will need:


1 16.5 ounce roll of sugar cookie dough
8 ounces of softened cream cheese
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Fruit of your choice



Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Using a greased mini muffin pan fill each section with a one inch ball of dough.
Bake tarts for ten to twelve minutes.
In a large bowl beat the cream cheese and heavy cream together until fluffy and smooth.
Add the powdered sugar a little at a time until smooth and creamy.
Beat in the vanilla.
Remove tarts from oven and gently press down the center to make room for filling.
Allow tarts to cool.
Fill a piping bag with the filling and pipe into each tart
Top with your choice of fruit.
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
