Christmas Card Display

Hello everyone!
One of my favorite parts of Christmas is receiving Christmas cards.
I love to have them displayed in my house all season long.
Last year was our first Christmas in our house and I was not sure where to display the Christmas cards we received so, they were just added to the fridge.
This year I wanted to have a more festive way to display the Christmas cards.
I decided to add them to the garland we have running up our stairs.

I love the way the garland looks on its own but wanted to add a little more.
I thought that adding our Christmas cards was the perfect touch!
I got the garland from Michael's. Nine feet for four bucks!
Then I added some white lights that I got from Target for two fifty.
I am all about bargain shopping...
I decided to use clothespins to attach the Christmas cards.
Plain clothespins would work just fine but since the garland was pretty plain with white lights I decided I wanted to add in a bit of color.
I used Mod Podge to add red, green and gold glitter to the clothespins.
Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to the clothespin.
Cover with a thick layer of glitter in the color of your choosing.
Let dry for ten minutes.
Shake off the excess glitter.
Add another thin layer of Mod Podge, add one more layer of glitter and let dry.
Top off with a final layer of Mod Podge to prevent the glitter from shedding.

This was such an easy craft to do and it adds so much to our garland!
I love that they are displayed so everyone can see.
How do you display Christmas cards in your house?
