Even after all the set backs Erik and were still able to score some free days in California.
We went and saw the taping of Conan O'Brian on one of our free days.
It was a really neat experience. Erik and I would always watch Conan on weeknights together when we were dating so it was fun to actually experience the real thing.
We also got to go to Mission beach. Erik and I both agree that this was one of our favorite days.
We loved being in the ocean and relaxing on the beach. We wish we could have had more time there as planned. Towards the very end of the day we were in the ocean and Erik saw a fin not to far from us. I got a little spooked so we went back to shore only to discover we had been a few feet away from dolphins. We watched them play in the ocean while the sun set. It was amazing.
