Patriotic Glitter Letters

Hello everyone!
The Fourth of July is coming up soon so I thought I would share one of my favorite decorations.
Patriotic glitter blocks.

All you need is:
Wooden Letters
Paint
Mod Podge
Glitter
Paint brush

Paint your letters in the colors of your choice. I did two coats on each letter.
Once dry add a coat of Mod Podge and sprinkle on a layer of glitter.
Let dry and remove remaining glitter.
Repeat two more times or until you have reached your desired look.
Add one final layer of Mod Podge to the top to keep the glitter from falling off.
That's it!

What are your plans for the Fourth of July?

Homemade Meat Rubs

Hello everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful Father's Day weekend.
For gifts this year I gave out homemade meat rubs.
I thought I would share for all of your summertime grilling needs.
Here are the recipes:

Sweet Carolina Barbecue
1/8 cup of Paprika
1 1/2 Tablespoons of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of cumin
1 tablespoon of chili powder
1 tablespoon of black pepper
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon of onion powder
Herby Lemon Pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon of parsley
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon of onion powder
3 tablespoons of lemon pepper

Smokey Texas Rub
3 tablespoons of paprika
1 3/4 tablespoon of brown sugar
1/2 a tablespoon of garlic powder
1/2 a tablespoon of onion powder
2 teaspoons of oregano
2 teaspoons of salt

I mixed all of the ingredients for each recipe in a bowl.
After they were well mixed I placed the mixture in a jar with a label.

They were super quick and easy.
I found my recipes on Pinterest and there were many more if these don't tickle your fancy.
I paired the jars with a grilling spatula and a cheesy little saying.

What did you give to the men in your life this year?

Spa In A Jar

Hello everyone!
If you didn't know I love to give gifts.
I especially love giving gifts that are easy but look like I spent a lot of time on them.
Here is one of my favorite gifts to give to someone who could use a little pampering.

You will need:
A jar
Spa items

I used:
A Loofa
Bath Bombs
Lotion
A Candle
Nail Polish
Nail File
Lip Balm
Face Masks
Ribbon

I like to decide on a color theme so everything corresponds in the jar.

Place in some filler to the bottom of the jar, add in your items tie a bow around the jar and you are good to go!
Super easy and super cute!
What are some of your favorite quick gifts?

Succulent Bowls

Hello everyone!
I have been in love with succulents for the longest time but have never gotten around to acquiring some.
If you didn't know Erik and I just recently bought our first home and I thought it was the perfect time to get some succulents to had something to our new place.
I stumbled upon this tutorial and had to do it for myself.

You will need:
Succulents/Cacti
Pebbles
Potting Soil

Place pebbles in the bottom of your bowl, add your succulent or cacti, fill with your potting soil and water!

I think they turned out so cute and would be a great gift.
What do you think of the succulent trend?
Love them or hate them?
