They Did The Mash
For our little nephew Ryan's first birthday my sister threw an all out Monster Bash. We ate monster themed dinner, watched Ryan smash his monster themed cake and watched him open his millions of presents. We visited with lots of family and friends and all the cousins played with the large stash of balloons. It was a monster success. Happy first little Ry!
You Say It's Your Birthday
Erik and our nephew Ryan share their birthdays so, since we would be partying on their actual day of birth with little man Ry we celebrated Erik's birthday a day early. We opened presents went out to Erik's favorite restaurant Buffalo Wild Wings and had some Hobbit cake. The next day we Monster Mashed with Ryan. On Sunday we celebrated with Erik's family with dinner, four square and root beer floats. It was a fabulous birthday weekend for his twenty first.
It's In Your Head
I ran the Running Dead 5K with my dad and sisters Heather and April.. You can choose to either be a a human or a zombie. We chose zombies. Clown zombies to be exact. And we were a big scary hit. It was such a fun experience and to have my Dad along for the ride was a treat. At the end he gave it his stamp of approval and said it could be a new Halloween tradition which means a lot folks. I can't wait to do it again.
